How sending works

Izzy is a sending engine. It doesn't find leads or write your copy. It takes the list and the sequence you already have and sends them from your mailboxes, carefully.

1. Connect your mailboxes

   Add each Google Workspace mailbox with an app password. Email goes out through Google's own servers, from your address, the same way it does when you send from Gmail.

2. Check your domain

   Before the first campaign, Izzy sends a test email and checks that SPF and DKIM pass. Sending stays locked until they do.

3. Move over from Instantly

   Import your blocklist, the leads you've already contacted, and your new leads. Paste your sequence as it is: {{firstName}} variables and {{RANDOM | a | b}} spintax work the same way.

4. Send on a schedule

   Each mailbox sends 30 cold emails a day by default and never more than 50, with random gaps, in your campaign's time zone. If a mailbox still sends from Instantly while you switch, Izzy counts those emails too.

5. Stop when someone answers

   Izzy reads every inbox every 5 minutes. A reply stops the sequence for that lead and, by default, for everyone else at the same company in that campaign. Out-of-office replies don't stop it.

6. Protect each mailbox

   Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe header. Unsubscribes and bounces go to one suppression list for the whole workspace. If bounces or unsubscribes climb, Izzy pauses that mailbox and tells you why in one sentence.

Questions

Can I sign up today?

Not yet. We're onboarding the first workspaces by hand in early 2027. Email support@izzysend.com with your website and how many mailboxes you send from, and we'll go through your setup with you before you pay.

What do I need?

A Google Workspace account (not a free @gmail.com address) with 2-Step Verification on, IMAP allowed by your admin, and an app password for each mailbox. Your sending domain needs SPF and DKIM.

Is it safe to give Izzy an app password?

An app password gives full access to that mailbox over IMAP and SMTP, and only you can revoke it. Izzy stores it encrypted, with the key kept apart from the database. When you remove a mailbox, we delete its password right away and remind you to revoke it in your Google account.

Can Google suspend my account for cold email?

Yes, it can. Google's Workspace policies don't allow unsolicited bulk email, and Google decides what counts. Izzy keeps volume low per mailbox and pauses on bad signals, but the account and the list are yours, and so is that risk. We suggest sending from a separate domain and Workspace, not the one your business runs on.

Does Izzy warm up mailboxes?

Not at launch. Connect mailboxes that are already warmed up, or keep your current warmup running for now.

Does Izzy track opens and clicks?

Not at launch. Apple Mail Privacy Protection makes open rates unreliable. Izzy tracks replies instead, read straight from your inbox.

What about Microsoft 365?

It's next. Microsoft now requires OAuth for sending, and we're adding it after Google.

What's your refund policy?

If Izzy isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full, monthly or yearly. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Details are in the Terms.
